How to replace a toner cartridge in a laser printer?
Open cartridge door to access the old cartridge. Grasp the handle on the cartridge and then pull the cartridge up to remove it. Once the old cartridge is removed from the printer, remove the new cartridge from its packaging. Sometimes toner can settle inside the drum and cause poor print quality. We can prevent this issue by mixing the toner before installing into the printer. While holding the cartridge from its sides, rotate the entire cartridge 6-8 times to fully distribute the toner throughout the cartridge. Next, pull the orange tab untill all tape is removed from the toner cartridge. Be carefull not to touch the imaging drum on the bottom of the print cartridge as this can cause print-quality problems. Once the tape is completely removed, you can insert the cartridge into the printer. Close the print cartridge door. Your printer is now ready for regular use.

What is the difference between the toner cartridge and the drum unit? What is the toner cartridge?
In short, the toner cartridge is a container that contains the toner powder, whereas the drum unit is an electrically charged cylinder that transfers the powder onto paper.
Why do I get fewer pages out of my toner cartridge than the manufacturer claims I will get?
The manufacturer capacity is based on 5% of the page being covered in ink or toner, but if you are printing large shaded areas or more than 4 paragraphs of text, we generally print at more like 10 – 15% coverage.
So at 15% coverage, the calculation is, the new coverage value divided by the old coverage value (15 divided by 5). Then divide the stated manufacturer prints number (eg. TN2000 toner is 2500 pages), by the result of the last calculation.
15 / 5 = 3
2500 / 3 = 833.33 pages.
The print blurred.
Answer: OPC(Organic Photo Conductor) surface is damp, try printing a few pages more.

Answer: The hollow words refer to the lack of text or images.

Will the use of compatible/ remanufactured toner cartridge VOID my laser printer warranty?
Answer: ABSOLUTELY NOT. Using a compatible/remanufactured toner cartridge will not void the manufacturer's warranty. In fact, it would be illegal for the manufacturer to void your warranty under these circumstances. Similarly, it would be illegal to mandate that you only use their batteries in their products. You are the consumer and it is your choice.
